While I was working for a small conservation nonprofit that worked on grizzly bear conflict management, a field worker tipped me off that backcountry food storage products were being certified at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone. Any product that is certified as bear proof (bear canisters, coolers, panniers) is tested by bears in captivity. We used these pictures to help raise awareness for proper backcountry food storage in bear habitat.
